Central entered their tilt with Fredericktown on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 48-36 win over the Fredericktown Black Cats. That's more bragging rights for the Rebels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Fredericktown still got an impressive performance from Pj Reutzel, who went 10 of 16 en route to 24 points and seven rebounds. Reutzel is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Amelia Miller, who posted six points and 11 rebounds.

Central pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Fredericktown, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-6.

Central will look to defend their home court on Monday against Nerinx Hall at 6:30 p.m. Central is facing Nerinx Hall at the right time seeing as Nerinx Hall is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Fredericktown, they will head out to challenge Arcadia Valley at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th.
