MCGUIRE continues to improve, besting her previous  run total in each of the last three games she's  played.
 Meanwhile, Avondale came into Thursday's   game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Neither they nor Kettering could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for  a  4-4 draw.
 West Bloomfield's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-21. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.0 runs over those games. Avondale's  draw makes their record 1-18-1  this season.
