Cathedral Catholic moved up to 31 from 66 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Eastern. The Dons climbed the ranks as a result of a 21-10 win over the Dons.
Lincoln made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,994 from 2,429. The improvement came about via a 21-14 victory over the Hornets last week.
St. Augustine's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Thomas Goodridge threw for 87 and two touchdowns and Dominic Morgan had 31 yards receiving. On the ground Francoise Sims II chipped in 60 yards. Ethan Sanchez helped St. Augustine's passing attack out by catching two balls for 16 yards.
Thanks to the talents of JoJo Hudson and Tyler Herburger the Saints have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Hudson leads the league in passing with 454 yards, while Herburger has rushed for 504 yards this season. Cathedral Catholic's Xavier Williams leads the league in receiving yards with 217 on 11 catches.
