They came out on top against the Union County Yellowjackets by a score of 42-31 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Mountain View Prep found their leader in sophomore Avery Caldwell, who posted 12 points in addition to eight steals and five boards. Caldwell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Avery Richards was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.
The victory made it two in a row for Mountain View Prep and bumps their season record up to 3-16. As for Union County, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
