The Harnett Central Trojans can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They snuck past Hobbton with a 44-38 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Harnett Central also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Harnett Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quan Dixon led the charge by scoring 13 points. Kaleb McKinnis was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Harnett Central now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Hobbton, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harnett Central will take on Pine Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hobbton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rosewood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosewood is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
