Floyd Central's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braden Moore led the charge by scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The matchup was Moore's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronnie Samons, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Betsy Layne beat Martin County 78-70 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Betsy Layne.

Floyd Central was able to grind out a solid win over Betsy Layne when the teams last played back in January, winning 79-68. The rematch might be a little tougher for Floyd Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
