The Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots are taking a road trip to square off against the Sheets Memorial Christian Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 13-0). They were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over Lee Park Prep. With that win, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Keegan Spach made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy is undefeated when Spach posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ben Pickard, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Ashton Devane also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sheets Memorial Christian). They were the clear victors by an 18-6 margin over Shining Light Academy on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Like Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, Sheets Memorial Christian also got a great game from a two-way player: Jack Holland. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Holland was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Zack Damba was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Charlie Matthews was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Sheets Memorial Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .440. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.
Sheets Memorial Christian's record is now 6-3. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.
Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy couldn't quite finish off Sheets Memorial Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2023 and fell 7-5. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
