Meanwhile, St. Andrews-Sewanee unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They suffered a rough 52-31 loss at the hands of South Pittsburg. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Andrews-Sewanee in their matchups with South Pittsburg: they've now lost six in a row.

Collegedale Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Andrews-Sewanee in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, sneaking past 44-42.
