Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, the Weiss Wolves couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were beaten by Cedar Hill 62-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 52 points in the game before, Weiss couldn't push the score so high this time.
Jax Brown threw for 207 yards on 25 of 41 attempts. Adrian Wilson was his top target, picking up 72 receiving yards. On the ground, Jeffrey Moore rushed for 32 yards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cedar Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anthony Edwards, who rushed for 45 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only ten passes. Kymeion Turner also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Cedar Hill's defense and their four sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Jabari Sims and Demetrius Williams jr who racked up four sacks between them.
Weiss' defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Cedar Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Weiss does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cedar Hill will square off against North Forney at TBD on Friday.
