After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newkirk, Morrison was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Tonkawa Buccaneers by a score of 6-2. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Morrison's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Tonkawa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Morrison will look to defend their home field on Friday against Perry at 4:30 p.m. As for Tonkawa, they will venture away from home to square off against Garber at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
