The Erie Tigers extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Palmer Ridge Bears. They strolled past the Bears with points to spare, taking the game 20-6. Winning may never get old, but Erie sure are getting used to it with their 13th in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Erie to victory, but perhaps none more so than Blake Barnett, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 140 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Braylon Toliver, who rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
Erie's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Palmer Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 13-1.
Erie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Palmer Ridge also has no future games currently scheduled.
