High School of the Future took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Frankford Pioneers 71-38. This was payback for the Firebirds, who suffered a 65-36 loss the last time these two teams met.
High School of the Future was led to victory by Malik Jones and Iseem Craig. Jones posted 14 points, while Craig earned 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karon Coleman, who put up nine points.
Frankford's loss came despite strong showings from Doron Ross and Jasir Jeffcoat. Ross scored 14 points and three steals, while Jeffcoat had eight points and eight rebounds. That was a full 36.8% of the Pioneers' points, marking the third time in a row Ross has posted more than a third of the team's points.
