The Union Parish Farmers extended their postseason success on Friday against the Jena Giants. They came out on top against the Giants by a score of 24-16. The win was familiar territory for Union Parish who now have four in a row.
Jy?marion Island continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 188 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Union Parish has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Jena, their loss dropped their record down to 12-1.
Union Parish is on the road again on Friday and play against St. James at 3:30 p.m. on December 8th. St. James' defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so Union Parish's offense will have their work cut out for Union Parish. Jena does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
