The Charlotte Orioles lost against the Olivet Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Charlotte took a 41-24 bruising from Olivet.
Charlotte's loss came despite strong showings from Peyton Howarth and Jaelyn Baker. Howarth scored 16 points, while Baker scored six points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Howarth has scored all season.
Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Olivet, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlotte will square off against Pennfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pennfield is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Olivet, they will head out on the road to square off against Stockbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stockbridge is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
