The Thomas Jefferson School Titan were the 52-26 winner over the Twin City Christian Academy Eagles when they last played one another back in November of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Thomas Jefferson School took a 39-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles.
Thomas Jefferson School lost on Friday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ben Cashen, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds. Cashen is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Sandy Wan, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Thomas Jefferson School's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Twin City Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis the next time they take the court. Thomas Jefferson School will host the Crusaders at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will host them at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th.
