Friday just wasn't the day for the New Diana Eagles's offense. They fell just short of Sabine by a score of 1-0. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for New Diana in their matchups with Sabine: they've now lost three in a row.
New Diana has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 1-5-1 record this season. As for Sabine, their win bumped their record up to 2-6-3.
New Diana will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Spring Hill at 5:00 p.m. on February 16th. As for Sabine, they will head out on the road to challenge Tenaha at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sabine is coming into the game with four straight wins on the road, so Tenaha is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
