Football Game Preview: Dutch Fork Silver Foxes vs. James F. Byrnes Rebels + How To Watch

The Dutch Fork Silver Foxes will take on the James F. Byrnes Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dutch Fork comes in on six and James F. Byrnes on four.

Dutch Fork is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-7 win over Boiling Springs. Considering the Silver Foxes have won six contests by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jaxon Knotts continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 311 yards and three TDs while completing 75.9% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score. Those 311 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kye Fulton, who picked up 119 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Dutch Fork didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mario Anderson and Taddrick Gibson.

Meanwhile, James F. Byrnes didn't have too much trouble with Rock Hill on Friday as they won 37-21.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Tre Segarra and Jacobi Fuller. Segarra gained 146 total yards and two touchdowns while Fuller rushed for 91 yards and a pair of scores.

Dutch Fork's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for James F. Byrnes, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Everything came up roses for Dutch Fork against James F. Byrnes in their previous matchup back in September of 2021, as the squad secured a 56-25 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Rebels' Gabe Rogers, who threw for 296 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one rushing score.
