Basketball Recap: Oxbridge Academy Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves beat the West Boca Raton Bulls 43-37 on Thursday.

Despite the loss, West Boca Raton still got an impressive performance from Jachin Wells, who posted eight points along with nine boards and six assists. Hayden Gratzol was another key player, putting up nine points.

Oxbridge Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4. As for West Boca Raton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6.

Coming up, Oxbridge Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Inlet Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The ThunderWolves will need to watch out since the Hurricanes have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for West Boca Raton, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Boca Raton at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
