West Lauderdale has struggled against the Warriors recently, as their match on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Choctaw Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clemons Zylier, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Alan John, jr, who scored 16 points.
West Lauderdale's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-4. As for Choctaw Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Mississippi (Northeast Lauderdale is ranked 35th, while the Knights are ranked 33rd). As for Choctaw Central, they will head out on the road to square off against the Gators at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Leake Central and the Warriors are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
