It's playoff time, and Dorchester Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with  a   5-1  victory over the King's Academy Lions  on Friday. The  win was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on six straight.
 Emery McClure was a  major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 McClure wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Ryann Martin, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs.
Dorchester Academy's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for King's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
 Dorchester Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  15-5  win against Lee Academy on the 10th. King's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
