First Baptist Academy won the last time they faced Golden Gate and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions walked away with a 5-2 win over the Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Jack Sturdevant was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Slyder Davenport, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

First Baptist Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-9-1. As for Golden Gate, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Coincidentally, First Baptist Academy and Golden Gate will both be playing Northridge the next time they take the field. The Titans will host the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lions will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
