Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead La Cueva to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Dyer, who scored 14 points along with three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dyer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Daniel Lovato, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Centennial lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brady Rewalt. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points. Ruiz Laborin was another key contributor, scoring five points.
La Cueva's victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-2. As for Centennial, they bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
