It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Math & Science College Preparatory had no problem doing just that  on Thursday. They claimed a resounding  80-24 win over the Chavez Eagles. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16  matches by 22  points or more this season.
Math & Science College Preparatory's victory was  their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 19-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.1 points. As for Chavez,  they are  on  a  19-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.
 Coming up, Math & Science College Preparatory will take on Reseda at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Reseda knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 games -- so hopefully Math & Science College Preparatory likes a good challenge. Chavez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
