Calvary Christian Academy scaled the state rankings by moving to 195 from 228 this week, the biggest jump in Southeastern - North. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of topping LaSalle 28-7.
Calvary Christian Academy added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Royal Lions, 28-7. The victory was the seventh in a row for Kirk Hoza's team.
Joe McChrystal provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Coral Springs Charter bested Archbishop Curley. He completed 21 passes for 174 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 166 yards. McChrystal's favorite target this week was Calvin Jackson Jr, who caught 5 passes for 53 yards.
Dylan Richman threw for 240 yards and 5 touchdowns. He went 14-24 with 1 interception.
McChrystal was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 166 yards on 20 carries as the Panthers beat Ransom Everglades. Kalen Carson also contributed to the rushing game with 95 yards on the ground.
6-foot-1 quarterback Jordan Watkins of John Carroll Catholic is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,078. He has also thrown 21 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Bargas. The St. Andrew's star has 53 catches for 949 yards.
The top two teams in Southeastern - North will face off this week when first place John Carroll Catholic takes on second place Coral Springs Charter. Last week, the Rams bested Coral Shores, while Coral Springs Charter topped the Knights.
The Scots' Bargas needs only 51 receiving yards against Pompano Beach to crack 1,000 for the season. He has recorded 53 catches for 949 yards this year.
The league will see a high scoring game when Adam Miller's team and John Carroll Catholic face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Panthers comes in having scored 324 this season, while Mike Watkins' team has scored 415. Coral Springs Charter scored 45 points last week as it bested Archbishop Curley.
Pope John Paul II and Westminster Academy played the closest game in the league this week, with Pope John Paul II eventually emerging with a 26-24 victory. Dequan McGriff ran for 156 yards and caught 4 passes for 19 yards during the win.
