Cape Hatteras' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Samuel Jenkins, who scored 11 points along with 6 steals, and Griffin Couch, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds. The game was Couch's third in a row with at least ten points. Trae Wyatt was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Their wins bumped Manteo to 2-1 and Columbia to 2-3.
