Mason Markovich Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Glenwood Springs's Mason Markovich, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Markovich turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday, making ten total tackles (4.0 for loss). He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards.
Markovich and Glenwood Springs have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Eagle Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Branson Springer produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Palisade to the win on Thursday. Springer threw for 77 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
