In other batting news, Yonkers got a massive performance out of Mya Campbell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Campbell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofia Lauda, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
Yonkers hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Nanuet didn't have quite enough to beat Clarkstown North on Monday and fell 5-4. The Golden Knights haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Yonkers' record is now 5-8. As for Nanuet, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
