Moshannon Valley extended their winning streak  to three  on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 9-8 in the process. Everything went their way against the Harmony Area Owls as they made off with  an  18-1 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  11-1  back in March.
 Valent Cervenak and  Collin Dunlap were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  Cervenak   pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Dunlap   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. At the plate,  Cervenak  went 4-for-5 with two  RBI, while  Dunlap  went a perfect 4-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. That  stolen base marked the first that  Dunlap has  snagged this season.

 In other batting news,  Brady Kephart was  incredible,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Mason Abernethy also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  doubles of the season.
 Moshannon Valley  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .628. They are  a perfect 6-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
As for Harmony Area,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 4-10 record. Having soared to a lofty 14  runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.
