The Peru Tigers will take on the Logansport Berries at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Peru is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   5-2  victory over Maconaquah.
 Bailee - 'Boo' Kintner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up six Ks.
 On the hitting side, Peru let  Kaycee Leffler and  Lilly Steele run wild. Leffler  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI, while  Steele  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  two  stolen bases gave  Leffler a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Logansport entered their tilt with Northwestern on Tuesday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Tigers  a   10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Berries, who have now won 14 games by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
 Gracie Risley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  run.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Adrienne Scott, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple.  Maddy Baumgardner was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Logansport  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwestern only posted  an  OBP of  .000.
 Logansport's win bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Peru, they now  have a winning record of 11-10-1.
 Peru suffered a grim  11-0 defeat to Logansport  in their previous meeting  on May 6th. Can the Tigers avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
