They were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over Gramercy Christian.  Samantha Argento made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, New Bern Christian Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Lola Jones, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Jacklyn Hilburn, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with three  stolen bases and one  run.
 Community Christian hit Faith Christian Academy with a six-run fourth inning  on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Conquerors came up short against  the Cyclones, falling  12-1. The Conquerors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 New Bern Christian Academy pushed their record up to 6-1 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Faith Christian Academy, they now  have a losing record of 3-4.
