Cole Medina turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Patterson is 4-2 when Medina allows two or fewer earned runs, but 5-7 otherwise.

Medina's effort led Patterson over Oakdale and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
