Henry Garcia put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He has become a key player for Rancho Alamitos: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 6-10 otherwise.

Garcia's strong effort led Rancho Alamitos over Western and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
