Even though the Berkeley Springs Indians scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, the Grace Academy Knights still came out on top. Grace Academy managed a 59-55 win over Berkeley Springs. The win made it back-to-back wins for Grace Academy.
Grace Academy had a senior duo take command as Ronan Casey scored 24 points along with six rebounds and Peter Ciardiello scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. Ciardiello also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Carson Feeser, who scored 11 points.
Grace Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Berkeley Springs, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Grace Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Frederick W at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Frederick W has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three contests. As for Berkeley Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Allegany at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Allegany presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Berkeley Springs in their respective states (Allegany is ranked 32nd in Maryland, while Berkeley Springs is ranked 86th in West Virginia).
