Pittsfield hasn't had much luck against Quincy Notre Dame recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Saukees will be playing at home against the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.
Pittsfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 22-4 margin over Augusta Southeastern on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Saukees sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Brody Tomhave looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Quincy Notre Dame made sure to put some runs up on the board against Rushville-Industry on Monday. The Raiders blew past the Rockets 19-5. With that win, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.
Abram Wiewel was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Quincy Notre Dame is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Pittsfield, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Pittsfield hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .338. However, it's not like Quincy Notre Dame struggles in that department as they've averaged .345. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
