Basketball Recap: Red Creek Skates Past Sodus with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Creek). They claimed a resounding 67-11 victory over the Sodus Spartans. While the Rams didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Red Creek moved to 6-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Sodus, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Red Creek will host Lyons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lyons knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Red Creek likes a good challenge. As for Sodus, they will head out to challenge Romulus at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sodus is facing Romulus at the right time seeing as Romulus is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
