After flying high against Valparaiso  last Thursday, Chesterton came back down to earth. The Chesterton Trojans fell  3-1 to the Crown Point Bulldogs on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September.
 While Chesterton ultimately came up short, they really made  Crown Point work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 22-25,  25-21.
 Despite the loss, Chesterton still got an impressive performance from   Cassandra Lange, who  had 16  digs and two  aces. Lange is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in the last five games she's  played dating back to last season.
  Bella Del Real went supernova for Crown Point,  getting 21  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  Del Real has posted  in her last seven  matchups.
 Chesterton's defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 18-9. As for Crown Point, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record  this season.
 Coincidentally,  the two teams will both be playing Portage the next time they take the court. Chesterton will head out to face Portage at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while Crown Point will  host them  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
