Union Academy waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trinity Bulldogs.

Union Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Trinity to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-17.

Kylie Wilson paced Union Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wilson got some help from Sara Baker and her 39 assists.

Union Academy's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 14-13.

Looking ahead, Union Academy will head out on the road to square off against Draughn at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
