The Van Vandals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight defeat. They were the victim of a tough 7-1 loss at the hands of Brownsboro. Van was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.
Van has not been sharp recently as the team has lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Brownsboro, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Bullard at 7:15 p.m. on February 20th. Brownsboro will take on Grand Saline at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Grand Saline's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for ten straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
