Kingman/Cunningham had a rough outing against Holcomb two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Kingman/Cunningham had enough points to win and then some against Nickerson last Friday, taking their game 31-14. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Kingman/Cunningham as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Larned, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They lost to Hugoton by a decisive 7-23 margin.
Kingman/Cunningham's win lifted them to 2-5 while Larned's loss dropped them down to 0-7. We'll find out if Kingman/Cunningham can add another positive mark to their record or if Larned can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Kingman/Cunningham's step.
