Dakota Ridge is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Wednesday. They will head out on the road to face off against the D'Evelyn Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. Dakota Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

Dakota Ridge took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over Lakewood. The high-scoring effort was just what Dakota Ridge needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Ava Arnold and Peyton Patrone scored all four of Dakota Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for D'Evelyn's offense. They fell just short of Heritage by a score of 1-0 last Thursday. D'Evelyn have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dakota Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for D'Evelyn, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Dakota Ridge came up short against D'Evelyn in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can Dakota Ridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
