Spooner will challenge Ladysmith on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The squad will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
Spooner put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They put a hurting on Barron to the tune of 49-12. The success made it back-to-back wins for Spooner.
Meanwhile, Ladysmith ended up a good deal behind Hayward/Lac Courte Oreilles when they played, losing 26-44. It was a tough break for Ladysmith, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.
Spooner's victory lifted them to 3-2 while Ladysmith's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Spooner can add another positive mark to their record or if Ladysmith can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Spooner's step.
