After having lost a blowout to Crivitz in their previous match, Wabeno/Laona were happy to find some success on Friday. Wabeno/Laona came out on top against Crandon with a 18-6. Crandon can consider this payback for the 8-36 loss they dealt Wabeno/Laona the last time the teams encountered one another.
The win bumped Wabeno/Laona's record up to 3-2. Crandon are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Wabeno/Laona take on Northland Pines at 7:00 PM. Wabeno/Laona will be strutting in after a victory while Northland Pines will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Crandon, they will face off against Crivitz. Crandon stagger into the matchup hobbled by six consecutive losses while Crivitz skip in buoyed by four consecutive wins.
