The Telstar Rebels will face off against the Carrabec Cobras at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Telstar's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
Telstar is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 20-1 margin over Forest Hills on Thursday. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Brennan Walker was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Connor Deprey was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Telstar kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Carrabec unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Forest Hills by a score of 5-4.
Colton Scheve was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs. He has become a key player for Carrabec: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise.
Telstar's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Carrabec, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Telstar has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Carrabec struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Telstar took their victory against Carrabec when the teams last played on May 3rd by a conclusive 18-7 score. Do the Rebels have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cobras turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
