The Lansing Christian Pilgrims's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 68-41 loss at the hands of Perry. Lansing Christian lost against Perry in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 37-28 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Lansing Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ethan Damesworth. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. The match was Damesworth's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennan Sendow, who scored 11 points.
Lansing Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Perry, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lansing Christian will challenge Pewamo-Westphalia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Perry, they will head out on the road to face off against Saranac at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
