After having lost a blowout in their previous game against JSerra Catholic, the Torrey Pines Falcons were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They took down O'Dea 71-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Torrey Pines got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Matin Madadkar out in front who scored 29 points along with seven rebounds. Those 29 points set a new season-high mark for him. Cody Shen was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Torrey Pines' victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for O'Dea, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
