After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sunnyslope, Mohave was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Mingus Marauders with a sharp 15-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Thunderbirds, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Rilynn Bragg made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off one hit. Bragg was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
