The Centaurus Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 65-31 loss at the hands of Windsor. Centaurus has not had much luck with Windsor recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Antuan Vargas, who scored 12 points.
Centaurus struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Centaurus has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Windsor, their win was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4.
Centaurus will head out on the road to challenge Greeley Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Greeley Central is ranked 167th, while Centaurus is ranked 163rd). As for Windsor, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Mead at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
