Stevenson was the 2-0 winner over Glenbrook North when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Nomin Baterdene paced Stevenson's offense, picking up ten kills. Baterdene got some help from Ryler Bondad and her 13 assists. Jane Tan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Leading Glenbrook North to victory were Morgan Choi and Habin Park. Choi had ten digs and two aces, while Park had six digs. That's the most aces Choi has posted since back in October of 2024.

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Glenbrook North, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Stevenson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Libertyville on the 30th. As for Glenbrook North, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Glenbrook South on the 30th.
