The Sarasota Christian Blazers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Out-of-Door Academy as Sarasota Christian made off with a 53-29 victory. Sarasota Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.
Sarasota Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alivia Fullerton, who scored 20 points. It was the first time this season that Fullerton scored 15 or more points. Brenda Bresciani was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Sarasota Christian's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-10. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Sarasota Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Out-of-Door Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
