The Lookeba-Sickles Panthers had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Gracemont with a sharp 74-48 victory on Saturday. The win was just what Lookeba-Sickles needed coming off of a 69-13 defeat in their prior game.
It was another big night for Nathan Morris, who dropped a double-double on 42 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Helmuth, who scored five points along with two steals.
Lookeba-Sickles' victory ended a 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-20. As for Gracemont, their loss was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-20.
Lookeba-Sickles will take on Hinton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lookeba-Sickles focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Saturday. Gracemont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
